Many of us call Chicago homebase, but our full core team is distributed coast to coast. We don’t believe in one size fits all creative, so we stay purposefully small to expand and contract using our extended large network. This allows us to custom assemble each project team so we can hit it out of the park for your brand while also hitting your timeline and budget.

A classic oldest child, natural optimist and tireless consensus-builder, Lis is happiest working alongside our team and clients to move everyone toward their shared goals. She's a writer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart, collaborating with Jen to oversee the agency's direction and build strong, successful client partnerships. With 15 years of experience as a content strategist and creator, Lis guides Statement's content team to deliver smart, consistent communications across all print and digital formats. A high-level thinker with a penchant for fine detail, Lis loves helping clients crystallize innovative ideas into actionable branding and marketing plans.

Jen co-leads the direction and growth of Statement, from delivering top-notch client service to shaping new business strategies. She fell in love with design at a young age, when she became the leading layout lady in charge of her high school yearbook. She’s spent two decades helping clients meet their goals by elevating brands across digital and print within sectors like Fortune 500, health care, tech, nonprofit, restaurant and hospitality. Her sharp eye for good design and visionary ideas helps guide the team toward smart, compelling client solutions. Her passion for innovation, trends and tech helps ensure client brands stay relevant and dynamic with the times.

Chrissy is passionate about accuracy, empathy and impact, and she gets to combine all three in her role at Statement. On a typical day, you’ll find her proofreading, editing and writing copy that helps Statement’s clients achieve their goals as they shape our world for the better. Chrissy has been writing professionally for about a decade, but her first “published” work was a family newsletter started at age 8. Since then, she’s developed her philosophy that the audience is always the hero and collaboration is key to success. Strategic thinking gets Chrissy up in the morning, and missing commas keep her up at night.
